WPS Chorus
2nd Grade Honors Chorus – Waynesboro Primary School
The Waynesboro Primary School 2nd Grade Honors Chorus is a select group of 2nd Graders. Students are auditioned in the first weeks of school and have opportunities throughout the year to audition again should a spot become available. Membership is limited to students who strive for excellence in academics, behavior, and musical expression.
Rehearsals are held after school once a week for a little over an hour.
Students perform for at least three evening concerts throughout the year: a Christmas Concert, an All-County Concert, and a Spring Concert. In addition they perform as needed for school events and any other opportunities when they arise.
Our students are blessed to have a county that values quality musical experiences and offers them for Primary to High School students. We are the youngest to benefit from that support.
